G.A.I.N.

Overview

G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods) is held during the month of October each year. It is similar to National Night Out across the country, which is held in August.

Citizens in Apache Junction are encouraged to get out and interact with the neighbors to celebrate G.A.I.N. AJPD partners with the Apache Junction Parks & Recreation department to provide safety information and demonstrations at the annual Halloween Festival. For additional information on G.A.I.N., or to request information on Neighborhood Watch, please contact the Community Resource Unit at (480) 474-5442 or via email.

If your community is interested in host a neighborhood partnership meeting, where department representatives and members of the City Council visit with the community, to discuss current events and issues, please contact the City's Public Information & Marketing Communications Specialist Al Bravo at (480) 474-5080 or via email.
