Records Unit
The Records Section serves as the central repository for all records, reports and citations. Information from reports/citations is indexed into a computerized records management system.
The Records Section processes, indexes, distributes and files all offense reports generated by police officers in the performance of their duties. This area also receives and fills requests for copies of records from citizens, attorneys, insurance companies and other criminal/non-criminal justice agencies with a need for this type of information.
