The Arizona Department of Transportation has informed us that the road work project scheduled for later this month for the US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Apache Junction and east Mesa has been postponed until next year.
ADOT says due to unforeseen circumstances the work that had been planned for the weekend of Oct. 23-24 needs to be pushed back. Transportation officials set a tentative new date of May 2022 for the pavement sealing work. The project includes work on US 60 from the Loop 202 to Goldfield Road.
Real-time highway conditions are available on ADOT’s Arizona Traveler Information site at az511.gov and by calling 511. Information about highway conditions also is available through ADOT’s Twitter feed, @ArizonaDOT
