Fun-For-All: The Festival of the Superstitions.
The Festival of the Superstitions will resume on a beautiful, fall day on Saturday, Nov. 13 after the festival was cancelled during the pandemic of 2020.
This is the 11th year of the festival and it is presented by the Apache Junction Area Chamber of Commerce. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. Vendors, food trucks, bounce houses, a pie-eating contest, live bands, a beer garden, miniature ponies, and so much more will be available for those of all ages to come and participate. The event will be held at Flatiron Park at 100 N. Apache Trail in Apache Junction.
Highlights include a Veterans Tribute, which includes the American Legion riders, the national anthem, a presentation of the colors, presentation of the flag to representatives of each of the armed forces and more. Also, a fabulous car show with highly prized cars will be joining the festivities as it will be lining North Apache Trail just northeast of Phelps Drive.
The chamber is still accepting vendor applications, which can be requested by contacting Heather DeBrosse, director of sales and marketing for the chamber. Requests for vendor applications can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 480-982-3141.
