The city of Apache Junction is very excited, for the second year, to collaborate with the Apache Junction High School “Construction Technologies” class on a Construction Safety Event.
This year’s event, with the support of our sponsors, is evolving to be bigger and better than last year. A two-hour event was held on Tuesday, May 9, with emphasis on the International Code Council’s yearly Building Safety Month Celebration.
Several presentations were directed towards Building Safety, a student t-shirt design contest, lunch, 2021 ICC code books, construction materials for the classroom that the students will install as a class project to improve the appearance of the classroom and allow the students a hands-on learning experience, games and prizes, and city of Apache Junction bags filled with educational information and promotional items related to the construction industry.
