Apache Junction Public Library’s Summer Reading Program isn’t just for children — join library staff at the Handlebar Pub and Grill this summer to talk books with some lo
cal brews.
This laid-back book discussion and mixer will be held from 6:30–8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month, the next session set for June 15, at The Handlebar Pub & Grill, 650 W. Apache Trail. The club will meet each month through October. Each gathering will focus on a specific genre. Anyone is welcome to join and discuss books that fit the genre — or any book they’ve enjoyed lately. Handlebar is offering 10% off food and drinks for all attendees.
