1. How can I get a grant to fix my home?

The City’s grant/loan program is based on economic need, living situation, and the repairs that are needed on your home. Grant/loans can be obtained for: 1) emergency repairs (e.g. replacing an air conditioner); 2) making a home accessible if you have a disability (e.g. installing a ramp); or 3) making a major or minor repair to your home. 2. I have a mobile home, can I get a grant to fix it?

That depends. The City is allowed to help only those manufactured home owners that also own the land that the home is on. If you are a senior citizen in need of assistance but do not own the land that your home is on there are other resources for you listed on our webpage at Housing Rehabilitation Program page.

3. What kinds of things can be fixed with grant money?
